February is here and love is in the air... but also stacks of pancakes and loads more going on at the Food Exchange. We have plenty of exciting dates coming up and achievements to celebrate, as well as opportunities to join the Food Exchange community in this month's newsletter.

What's new. Valentine's Day and Pancake Day (Shrove Tuesday)

At the Food Exchange we are looking forward to celebrating Valentine's Day and Pancake Day on Shrove Tuesday. If you haven't sorted your Valentine's Day gift yet and you are looking for some inspiration for Pancake Day, here's what's on offer from our Food Exchange tenants:

For Valentine's Day visit Doisy&Dam for their Valentine's chocolate bundle and Oppo Brothers who have a romantic limited edition date night in gift box.

Mighty Small have created these fantastic Pancake Day bundles filled with vegan and gluten-free treats.

Community Spotlight. Food Cycle's Social Impact Report

We are thrilled to read and share with you the incredible achievements from the latest FoodCycle annual report. FoodCycle is a UK charity, based at the Food Exchange, that combines surplus food, spare kitchen spaces and volunteers to create three-course meals for people at risk of food poverty and social isolation.

Find out how they pivoted and adapted to the challenge of operating throughout the pandemic, as well as how they plan to return to community meals and expand in 2021. Read FoodCycle's Impact Report and find out how you can support them.

Congratulations to the wonderful Mary McGrath, FoodCycle CEO, who has been awarded an MBE this month!
