What's old... A look back at 2020
At the Food Exchange, we strive to support our members at every stage of their journey, enhancing their potential and giving a home to our community of more than 500 food and beverage professionals.
This year, as the world has wrestled with the impacts of the pandemic, we remain committed to ensuring that being part of the Food Exchange and New Covent Garden Market makes a difference; here are just some ways we have supported our community this year:
- Built a dedicated home delivery shopping webpage for our members to join
- Launched a campaign for British Food Fortnight
- Lobbied for business rates concessions for our tenants
- Welcomed the fit out of Mission Kitchen
- Partnered with London Waste and Recycling Board, Soil Association, City Harvest, London South Bank University, London Agri-Food Innovation Clinic, Westminster Kingsway College.
- Promoted online webinars and events through Wandsworth Enterprise Hub
- Created and shared content created by our community for the community

Under our roof, we have 28 private, spacious studios; expansive break out areas; 4 complimentary meeting rooms with AV and booking systems; office kitchenettes, complimentary coffee bars and communal outdoor terraces.
Our studios have super-fast wifi, movable data-boxes and are ready to be fitted out and branded as you like. Floor to ceiling windows provide a bright, natural backdrop. With spaces from 330 to 1500 sq. ft.

Community Spotlight
12 Days of Christmas
Every day for 12 days this month, we promoted some of our members' wonderful products and services and some charitable initiatives too. If you're looking for seasonal gifts, make sure you check out our Instagram at @foodexchangeldn and our blog post about the 12 Days of Christmas.
Mission Meals
Mission Meals, an initiative launched by Mission Kitchen, have helped 14 food businesses survive the pandemic, delivering 21,000 meals to people in need. Last week they've delivered 5,500 meals intended to give vulnerable families a degree of food security over the Christmas period. All meals were cooked by small businesses in need of support. Mission Meals initiative helped small businesses survive and fight hunger during Covid-19.

About the Food Exchange
We are located in the heart of New Covent Garden Market, Nine Elms, Battersea.
Our building consists of private studios, business facilities and soon a commercial kitchen space. The Food Exchange provides the amenities to host clients and network within a community of like-minded people from across the food and drink industry.
